Now when I open my solution inside of visual studio, the software appears to connect to each of the projects successfully, but then hangs with the message "Updating Source Code Control Status" in the status bar. Because you helped me so much, I'm gonna return the favor and help those who dont know how to update the hosts file.
Nu Get calls visual studio IDE DTE commands like Add Reference, which in turn causes visual studio to add the file by the project system.
I have to kill the editor via the task manager and lose all my work. I tried to reproduce this by using a project that is set up to use Perforce as source control, then disconnected from the network.
Once I had disconnected, none of the Perforce functionality in the Engine worked, and I was unable to see the message window that you provided a screenshot of.
Good day, we managed to get the update down to an acceptable time, just to give you some background, we have approximately 110 c# projects that we create into Nuget packages and host on our own local Nuget server.
It is impossible for us to manually create the Nuget packages for each one of these projects, so we wrote an application that will do the work for us.
I will look out for the new updates you mentioned to speed up the process.
