Standing just a few paces apart, four women were seeking marriage licenses this morning shortly after 9 a.m. Kim Wilkerson, 31, and Jennifer Stokes, 33, both of Attalla, were waiting while office workers sorted out a glitch in the new marriage form that allows same-sex couples to get married in Alabama.
